How to Make a Tulle Tutu Video

We, at Ribbons.com, are obsessed with tulle. From cute hats, to twirly tutus, to sensational gift wrapping, tulle can be used for anything. And Lindsay the Frugal Crafter proves just how cute a tulle tutu can be with her spooktacular puffy tutu made from black polka dot tulle and orange polka dot tulle. Her cute Pony O’s are also adorbs. Watch her video below to learn how you can make your very own tutu for Halloween!

Also, an insider’s scoop, tutus are hot this Halloween. You’re going to see lots of cute shirts (with prints), ears, and tutu bottoms on October 31st. Tutus just make it easy and playful to dress up any costume. You can be a leopard with a leopard print shirt, ears, and an animal print tutu or an angel with a white t-shirt, tutu, and halo. The possibilities are endless! And when you use a tutu in your costume, you’ll be surprised at how much you will save. Going to the Halloween store to buy a costume is much more expensive and clearly not as fun as sashaying around the Halloween party in a homemade tutu.

Already have a Halloween costume? Switch out the colors and make one for Christmas or, heck, make one for grocery shopping! There’s no such occasion that can’t be spruced up with a tutu.

We love the lace detail on the bottom of the tutu that adds a little more pop. To learn how to make a tutu, watch our tutu tutorial. [...]
